Toy Ideas for plane ride for 11 month old in lap
My daughter will be 11 months next week and is really into those board books with textures. Loves to touch the furry animals etc. Those are interesting, quiet activities. She also likes those books with little flaps that hide things. I am amazed at how long they hold her attention
プラダ 財布. Also, someone gave us the advice of putting all the toys in large ziploc bags and taking an extra bag along to seperate dirty toys. It worked out great because then the security people could easily check our bag but didn't have their hands all over my daughter's stuff. Also put her cup and snacks in a abig bag too. Then when a toy rolled on the bathroom floor or something gross, I could seperate it from everything else. I am more cautious than usual with germs when it comes to traveling. It is difficult enough to travel with a small child, a sick child just makes it horrible! Hope that helps.
Snacks!! Maybe some treat that doesn't get often. Quiet, safe (since you're monitoring) and DC can pull it all out, ball it up, etc. that would take some time! Stickers, maybe put some kid music/Barney songs on ipod and get the bigger headphones (not earbuds) and play soothing quiet music? I know that at one year my ped suggested Benadryl for a plane trip, since the pressure changes be uncomfortable and antihistamines knock a baby out. I know that's scrutinized by some but my ped reassured me that from a year on, a small dose on a rare occasion/emergency (ie, infrequent plane trip), Benadryl can actually be very worthwhile
プラダ. Saves DC ear pain/discomfort/irritation at being restricted, and saves you a headache! Anyway, it's definitely something to check with ped on anyway. But that's just another thought. thing I can think of--- get good diapers
chanel. I travelled a few times with ds and used reg diapers once, and overnight diapers other The amount of hassle that overnights save. those little airplane potties are HORRIBLE!! And it kills me to wake a happily snoozing dc up to change a diaper in a 2'x2' stinky bouncy bathroom! Good luck!
My DD was and still is a book lover. She would love those books w/ flaps to lift up and ones that have different textures to touch. Also Target sells Parents brand products and they have a great little etch-a-sketch
シャネル. The back is padded so it's comfy to hold and it has cute little duck, dog, cat and bunny magnets and the peices are big, so it's safe for kids under 2. We got one for our DD at 12 months and she still plays with it 14 months later. Another I always have in my diaper bag for my DD is a sandwich baggie filled w/ jumbo crayons and a coloring book.
My son has been flying with me since he was an infant, I would pick a handful of his favorite toys and put them up in the closet a week or two before we left, Then when he had them on the plane they held his interest better
エルメス. Benadryl is a great idea. Also if you baby still uses a bottle or pacifier make sure you have it (and a spare) their ears like ours being plugged, the sucking helps unplug them. My DR recommended that my son suck on something when we were taking off as the change in altitude is what effects the plugging in the ears. I had my nephew with me once when I was a teenager and he was a baby, He drank his bottle before we took off and omg he screamed from Boston to Denver. all but 45 mins. Normally a great baby. I made sure not to make this mistake with my son. Even if he was fussy for the bottle I dealt with it
シャネル 時計, wouldn't give it to him till we took off. If you can request the seat that is the first seat in 2nd class (if your flying 2nd class that is) there is no seat in front of you and a little bit more leg room. I was able to have my son on the floor there to play.
The airlines do check babies too like they do adults. I had mine one time in a carrier strapped to me which I had to completely take off
プラダ 新作. I also had to remove his shoes
エルメス バーキン. It was frustrating as I was already running behind
バーバリー バッグ. Just thought I'd give you that heads up, might be easier to not have shoes on till you go through security.
Good luck i'm sure things will be fine
Oh and mine loved the turbulence
