บริษัท โกลบอล เพาเวอร์ ซินเนอร์ยี่ จำกัด (มหาชน) (“GPSC”) รายงานผลประกอบการงวด 9 เดือน ของปี 2558 จำนวน 1,571 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้น 33% จาก 1,182 ล้านบาท  เมื่อเทียบกับงวดเดียวกันของปีก่อน เป็นไปตามเป้าหมายที่ประกาศไว้  ทั้งนี้แผนการเข้าลงทุนและที่อยู่ในระหว่างการก่อสร้าง ยังเป็นไปตามแผน คาดว่าหากโครงการเสร็จสมบูรณ์ทั้งหมดจะทำให้รายได้และกำไรของบริษัทเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมาก

นางวนิดา บุญภิรักษ์ ผู้จัดการฝ่ายสายงานการเงินและบัญชี บริษัท โกลบอล เพาเวอร์ ซินเนอร์ยี่ จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ GPSC เปิดเผยว่า “ผลประกอบการไตรมาสที่ 3 ของปี พ.ศ. 2558 GPSC มีอัตราการเติบโตของกำไรสุทธิที่เพิ่มขึ้น โดยมีกำไรจำนวน 566 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้น 19 % จาก 474 ล้านบาทเมื่อเทียบกับไตรมาส 2/2558 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามเป้าหมายที่ประกาศไว้  แสดงให้เห็นถึงความสามารถในการทำกำไรของบริษัทตามแผนการดำเนินงานที่วางไว้ และการเติบโตในการเป็นแกนนำธุรกิจไฟฟ้าและสาธารณูปโภคในกลุ่ม ปตท. ยังรุกอย่างต่อเนื่อง  ทั้งนี้แผนการเข้าลงทุนในกิจการที่พร้อมปฏิบัติการและที่อยู่ในระหว่างการก่อสร้าง คาดว่าหากโครงการเสร็จสมบูรณ์ทั้งหมดจะทำให้รายได้และกำไรของบริษัทเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมาก ส่วนในอนาคตระยะยาว GPSC เน้นในการลงทุนในโครงการใหญ่ และโครงการเกี่ยวเนื่องอื่น ๆ เพื่อสร้างความมั่นคงในการขยายตัวและเติบโต เชื่อว่าผลการดำเนินงานดังกล่าวจะเป็นผลดีกับผู้ถือหุ้นและช่วยให้นักลงทุนมั่นใจในการดำเนินงานของบริษัทในอนาคต

จากการที่ ดร. เติมชัย บุนนาค กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่คนใหม่ที่เข้ามาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 พ.ย. ที่ผ่านมานั้น ท่านเป็นผู้มีความรู้ ความเชี่ยวชาญ และประสบการณ์ยาวนานในธุรกิจพลังงานจากการร่วมงานกับองค์กรทั้งในและต่างประเทศมากกว่า 30 ปี โดยระยะเวลา 18 ปีในช่วงหลัง ได้ร่วมงานในกลุ่ม ปตท. ทั้งในธุรกิจน้ำมัน และก๊าซธรรมชาติ เคยดำรงตำแหน่งเป็นประธานกรรมการ  และกรรมการ  ของบริษัทผลิตไฟฟ้าอีกหลายแห่ง จึงถือเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของ GPSC โดยท่านได้กล่าวในพิธีส่งมอบภารกิจ กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ ที่ผ่านมาว่าพร้อมที่จะสานต่อเป้าหมายทางธุรกิจของ GPSC ในฐานะแกนนำในการดำเนินธุรกิจไฟฟ้าและสาธารณูปโภคของกลุ่ม ปตท. ในการมุ่งมั่นที่จะก้าวขึ้นเป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำด้านธุรกิจไฟฟ้าของภูมิภาคเอเชีย ด้วยการขยายการลงทุนและพัฒนาโครงการทั้งในและต่างประเทศ โดยเห็นว่าธุรกิจไฟฟ้า นับเป็นธุรกิจที่เป็น Mega trend ของพลังงานในวันนี้ นางวนิดา กล่าวเสริม

GPSC unveils on-target performance in Q3/2015 with strong confidence

of electricity as a Mega Trend of energy industry nowadays

Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (“GPSC”) recently announced its performance in the Q3/2015.  Net profit item of 2015 first 9 months is 1,571 million baht, a 33% growth from 1,182 million baht in the same period last year which is as targeted. Furthermore when the projects from strategy to invest in operating businesses and those under construction complete, GPSC’s revenue and profit will grow significantly.

Ms. Wanida Boonpiraks, Chief Financing Officer of GPSC, said, “In Q3/2015, GPSC saw a growth in net profit, which reflects our on-target profitability. Net profit item is 566 million baht, a 19% growth from 474 million baht of Q2/2015. This can reflect GPSC’s ability to generate profits to meet its targets. This guarantees our capability in being PTT’s electricity producer flagship . Our strategy is to invest in operating businesses and those under construction. When completed, our revenue and profit will grow significantly. Furthermore, our long-term plan is to invest in major projects and other related projects to ensure expansion and growth. We believe that this strategy will be beneficial for our shareholders and boost the confidence of investors, assuring them of our performance in the future.

This is also another important step of GPSC as Dr. Toemchai Bunnag appointed to be GPSC President, effective from November 1, 2015. He is a knowledgeable person with his wealth of expertise in the energy industry in Thailand and Oversea of more than 30 years with last 18 years in PTT group in various areas i.e. Downstream Oil and Natural Gas Business. He used to work as a chairman and  director  of several  electricity  generating  companies.  At  the  mission  handover  ceremony, Dr. Toemchai mentioned that he would continuously pursue the corporate growth strategy as an electricity and utility producer flagship of PTT with an aim to become one of the Asian electricity leaders through expansion of its investment and projects both domestically and internationally with a prospect as a Mega Trend of energy industry nowadays. Ms. Wanida said.
