AM sat down with Nicholas Joseph Hansen (of Nicholas Joseph) and Kyle Vucko (of Indochino) to learn how to take advantage of Asian tailoring stateside.
Tell us a bit about the inspiration for your businesses.
Nicholas: I launched Nicholas Joseph Custom Tailors in Chicago after being inspired by my first custom clothing experience. The fit was unlike any I had before, and I loved the creative process of choosing fabrics and styling options. I decided to start Nicholas Joseph so that I could introduce custom clothing to men who were either not aware of it or who perceived it as too expensive. Nicholas: It always better to have custom clothing made for you from scratch rather than having clothing tailored after it has been made. Even Brooks Brothers custom line is made overseas; just be sure you trust the tailor taking the measurements and have heard good things about the custom shop you dealing with.
Quality of overseas tailoring Can a customer expect the same level of quality from an overseas tailor michael kors coupon?
