I knew the boy and I would be having the time of our lives!The hotel was in fact so cool that we were tempted to spend all six days lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails and soaking up the (very hot) sun. Set in a stunning google google all black and white minimalistic decor, and located in South Beach, the Mondrian fulfilled all the cliches of what life in Miami is all about: flashy, fun and fabulous. Highlight of the week? The in house all day pool party complete with thumping house beats and magic mojitos.I could go on about the hotel and it's daylight nightlife, but let's move on to the main event: food. When in Rome etc.. Why bother even making the 8 hour trip if one does not plan to indulge in a giant burger or two. Not to mention oversized pancakes with maple syrup, frothy milkshakes, waffles and whipped cream, french fries and nachos. Although I'm very much a full english'kinda girl, South Beach's 11th Street Diner's authentic fare floored me (in a good way) and set me out to sashay out into the city in my new biker boots.

After tabulating results from 35k voters, the Sexiest Shoe for 2011 is a beige lace embroidered Valentino pump! Rounding out the top 4, Jimmy Choo Swarovski crystal sandals took second place, Prada came in third with knee high high heeled leather boots. Finally, Chrissie Morris stepped into fourth position with black art deco ankle boots.

For Missoni Spring 2011, there was all of that, plus a hint of African tribal prints and an eighties vibe on the apparel and the shoes. What do you think of the liberal usage of psychedelic kits, leather, and cork on the shoes I'm not a fan of the chunky cube shaped heels but at least they are short enough to be wearable.
