On May 11, he became the first graduate since the institution鈥檚 re-accreditation candidacy through the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools. Hawkins received an Associate of Arts degree and graduate as an honor student with a 3.5 grade point average.

There was a slight pause, and then the caps were flying in the air, high up in the rafters.
