While there have been sporadic reports of this disease in American production greenhouses since 2004, widespread regional outbreaks were seen for the first time in 2011 east of the Mississippi River, and in Minnesota, Iowa, cheap true religion jeans, Wisconsin, Illinois, Louisiana, Washington, Oregon, California and Texas in late 2012.
Discussions over the end of Japan's "Peace Constitution" are all over Japanese media at the moment, although the country is still weeks away from the Upper House election this summer which will decide whether Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's goal can be achieved.Abe and his advocates aim to revise the war-renouncing Article 9. The ruling Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has made it clear that this article must be cancelled. Some leading media outlets, including the Yomiuri Shimbun and Sankei Shimbun,Celine bag, also support the constitutional revision this time. One of the reasons they've put forward is that the pacifist constitution was drafted by the Americans during their occupation of the postwar Japan, and it is thus no longer enough to "protect people, territory and sovereignty."These statements are quite surprising for long-term Japan observers. Tokyo politicians have been stressing the Japanese-US alliance, and Abe is no exception. Abe's Washington trip was set as a top priority even before he stepped into office. During his visit to the US, Abe, with the slogan "Japan is back," stated that he would fix and consolidate the alliance which was weakened during the rule of the Democratic Party of Japan. Echoing Washington's push for the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), Abe proactively brings Japan to the negotiation table for TPP talks. But now, he has publicly announced he will abandon the constitution created by this important ally. Nonetheless, Abe's proposal may not irk Washington, which also seems unsatisfied with the constitution. Japan actually has a very strong army at the moment, but due to the existence of Article 9, it is called the Self-Defense Forces (SDF). The SDF was initially formed with approval from Washington in the wake of the Korean War (1950-53). But it was never actually involved in a war until the Cold War ended.Washington apparently doesn't want such a situation to continue,truereligionjeansminnow.com, especially as the US has kept going to war in the past two decades. In 2001 when the Afghan war erupted, Japan, after a request from Washington, sent SDF vessels to the Indian Ocean to provide military supplies to US ships. In the wake of the 2003 Iraqi war, Japan dispatched the SDF to Iraq to carry out humanitarian missions. But because of Article 9, the role of the SDF cannot go beyond providing such aid. And there are US politicians who censure at the constitution which was drafted by their own government decades ago. In 2010,nikerains.co.uk, former deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage and former assistant secretary of defense Joseph Nye jointly wrote that Japan should consider abrogating Article 9. Obviously Abe is not deaf to the voices coming from the US. But what's astonishing is that these voices barely appeared in Japanese media. Instead, nationalistic rhetoric has prevailed. Both the LDP and major media outlets believe that possessing a military is a due right and a must for an independent country. Abe himself even delivered a speech standing in a tank and wearing a camouflage jacket and a helmet. In late April,http://www.celinebagrule.com/, Tokyo celebrated "Restoration of Sovereignty Day" to mark the signing of the San Francisco Peace Treaty in 1952.But must Japan rewrite the constitution to protect itself? According to Tokyo, Japan can safeguard itself with the SDF when it is attacked. And the US also has the obligation to help protect its ally. The real change is that without Article 9, Japan will also have the obligation of collective self-defense in its alliance with the US. In other words, when the US is attacked, Japan needs to lend a hand too.The US is walking out of the mire of two wars in the Middle East. But no one can guarantee that it will not be involved into a new war in the future. Besides, the US is being forced to cut the defense budget due to financial difficulties. Washington is willing to embrace a Japan which is able to develop a full military and purchase arms from the US.Ordinary Japanese are bombarded by propaganda that protecting Japan is every citizen's obligation. But if they vote for a "truly Japanese" constitution, they will soon find out that the constitution was not amended for them.
He added: “I am looking forward to moving into the new council premises, Mercury House, as it will be great to have all council officers together under one roof.
