Sentencing for a Tacna man charged with drug and gun-related offenses had to be continued for more than a month when the man's attorney requested a mitigation hearing after learning of the sentence the court intended to impose upon his client.In a brief hearing in Yuma County Superior Court, Superior Court Judge pro tem David Haws informed attorney Greg Torok that the court had received his objection to a recommendation in the pre-sentence report prepared for his client, 45-year-old Robert Holmes, that he register as a .In addition to granting Torok's request, Haws also scheduled 2:30 p.m. on July 10 as the time and date the mitigation hearing would be held.
