Pink posters citing "business closed" have draped an Arkadelphia eating establishment.Taco Tico, located at 2909 West Pine St., has been closed down by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration for failure to make sales tax payments.According to Roberta Overman, manager of sales and use section with the ADFA,longchamppascherroses.com, this is probably the first time an establishment in Clark County has been closed down for failure to make sales tax payments.The establishment was closed down Tuesday at about 1:30 p.m."We have tried more than once to make contact with them to get them in compliance and we have failed,beats by dre," said Overman.According to Overman, a tax payer who has gotten behind on their payments for two tax periods is contacted to try to get in compliance.After they have gotten three tax payments behind, the tax payer is served with Business Closure Order."They are then given five days to either get a payment plan or pay what they owe," Overman said.According to Overman, Taco Tico must settle all of its outstanding payments before they will be allowed to re-open. Overman declined to give the total outstanding balance by Taco Tico. She also could not say when the last time her office received a payment from Taco Tico.In addition,monster beats, Overman said Taco Tico staff has been warned of the consequences if they failed to make payments."When a sign has been put up it means opportunities have been given but were unsuccessful," said Overman.
