The Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced Tuesday an expansion of the pilot value-added tax (VAT) reform program nationwide starting from August this year. The program is estimated to help cut taxes by 120 billion yuan ($19 billion) in 2013.The MOF's announcement is a follow-up to a decision at an earlier meeting of the State Council.
