ACCC proposes NBN wholesale price checks The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission says it

The proposal is one of several the competition watchdog has put to NBN Co and the telecommunications industry as it prepares to make a decision on the special access undertaking, the document governing pricing and access arrangements to the $37.4 billion for the next three decades. NBN Co has committed to constrain limit price increases on existing products to the inflation rate minus 1.5 per cent but the regulator and industry have previously voiced concern over whether it could introduce new products to skirt those limitations.
