Entertainer Michael Ballam was arrested and booked into the Cache County Jail Friday. The founder and director of the Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, was jailed by the Logan City Police Department after being pulled over.

Curtis said because of the warrant, officers had to take Ballam into custody and book him into the Cache County Jail.
According to Cache County Booking records, Ballam was booked into jail at 3:56 P.M., Friday. No bail was set. Curtis said he did not know how long Ballam spent in jail before being released.
