Denise Fergus, James' mother, demanded a fundamental review of Parole Board procedures in order to give victim's families more access to information about each case after the announcement that Jon Venables is to be freed once again.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Channel 5 News, Mrs Fergus, 45, said she was shocked at Thursday's announcement that

Venables and Robert Thompson were both aged 10 when they abducted, tortured and killed two year-old James in Bootle, Merseyside, in 1993.
