EXIM BANK ลงนามความร่วมมือกับอมตะ คอร์ปอเรชัน (AMATA) สนับสนุนให้ผู้ประกอบการในนิคมกลุ่ม AMATA เข้าถึงแหล่งเงินทุนและโอกาสขยายธุรกิจส่งออกและโครงการลงทุนทั้งภายในและต่างประเทศ เชื่อมโยงกับการลงทุนใน CLMV

ดร.รักษ์  วรกิจโภคาทร กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารเพื่อการส่งออกและนำเข้าแห่งประเทศไทย (EXIM BANK) และนายวิกรม กรมดิษฐ์ ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท อมตะ คอร์ปอเรชัน จำกัด (มหาชน) (AMATA) ลงนามในบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ระหว่าง EXIM BANK และ AMATA โดยมีนายอาสา สารสิน ประธานกรรมการ บริษัท อมตะ ซิตี้ ระยอง จำกัด ร่วมเป็นสักขีพยานกิตติมศักดิ์และแสดงความยินดีในความร่วมมือระหว่างกัน เพื่อสนับสนุนให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมกลุ่ม AMATA และพันธมิตรในเครือข่ายธุรกิจสามารถขยายการส่งออกและลงทุนภายในประเทศและต่างประเทศ โดยเฉพาะ CLMV (กัมพูชา สปป.ลาว เมียนมา และเวียดนาม) เพิ่มมากขึ้น ผ่านการประชุมออนไลน์ เมื่อเร็ว ๆ นี้

กรรมการผู้จัดการ EXIM BANK เปิดเผยว่า ภายใต้ MOU นี้ EXIM BANK จะสนับสนุนให้ผู้ประกอบการในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมกลุ่ม AMATA และพันธมิตรในเครือข่ายธุรกิจเข้าถึงแหล่งเงินทุนและโอกาสใหม่ ๆ ทางการค้าและการลงทุนภายในและระหว่างประเทศ โดยสอดคล้องกับภารกิจของ EXIM BANK ที่จะเร่ง “ซ่อม สร้าง เสริม” ผู้ประกอบการไทย เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาประเทศในภาวะวิกฤตโควิด-19 ภายใต้บทบาทที่มุ่งจะเป็น “ธนาคารเพื่อการพัฒนาแห่งประเทศไทย” กล่าวคือ EXIM BANK จะ ‘ซ่อม’ ภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่ประสบวิกฤต ‘สร้าง’ อุตสาหกรรมใหม่สู่อนาคต เช่น อุตสาหกรรมสีเขียว ดิจิทัล และสุขภาพ (Green, digital, health : GDH) และการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน โดยเฉพาะในเขตพื้นที่ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (Eastern Economic Corridor : EEC) และ ‘เสริม’ ความสมดุลของการส่งออกและการลงทุนของไทยในตลาดเดิมและตลาดใหม่ซึ่งรวมถึง CLMV เพื่อพัฒนาภาคอุตสาหกรรมของประเทศไทย เชื่อมโยงกับการส่งออกและการลงทุนของไทยทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนในระยะยาว

“ความร่วมมือระหว่าง EXIM BANK กับ AMATA ในครั้งนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อเติมเต็มช่องว่างทางธุรกิจให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการทุกระดับในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมกลุ่ม AMATA ตั้งแต่รายย่อยไปจนถึงรายกลางและรายใหญ่ตลอดทั้ง Supply Chain ให้มีความพร้อมที่จะยกระดับประสิทธิภาพการผลิตและพัฒนาธุรกิจส่งออกและลงทุนให้มีความแข็งแกร่ง เชื่อมโยงการลงทุนภายในประเทศและระหว่างประเทศ รวมถึงโครงการความร่วมมือระหว่างรัฐบาลไทยกับประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน เพื่อพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อมในระดับภูมิภาคและโลกโดยรวม” ดร.รักษ์ กล่าว

EXIM Thailand Joins Force with Amata Corporation in Support for Thai Exporters and Investors Linking Investment in Thailand and Beyond, CLMV in Particular

EXIM Thailand signed an MOU with Amata Corporation (AMATA) to support entrepreneurs in AMATA Industrial Estate in their access to financial sources and opportunities to expand their export and investment domestically and abroad in linkage with investment in the CLMV.

Dr. Rak Vorrakitpokatorn, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Vikrom Kromadit, Chairman of Amata Corporation PCL. (AMATA), recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between EXIM Thailand and AMATA via an online meeting honorarily witnessed by Mr. Arsa Sarasin, Chairman of Amata City Rayong Co., Ltd., who delivered a congratulatory note on this mutual cooperation. The cooperation aims to support Thai entrepreneurs in AMATA Industrial Estate and alliances in the business networks so that they would be able to expand their export and investment in Thailand and overseas, particularly the CLMV (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam), to a greater extent.

EXIM Thailand President said that, under the MOU, EXIM Thailand will support Thai entrepreneurs in AMATA Industrial Estate and alliances in the business networks in their access to financial sources and new trade and investment opportunities in and outside Thailand. This move is in line with EXIM Thailand’s mission to “reboot, restructure, rebalance” Thai entrepreneurs in a rapid pace in order to drive national development even amid the COVID-19 pandemic under its role toward being “Thailand Development Bank.” EXIM Thailand will ‘reboot’ the industrial sectors in critical conditions, ‘restructure’ such new industries as green, digital and health (GDH) industries and infrastructure development projects, especially in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), and ‘rebalance’ Thai export and investment in existing markets and new frontiers, including the CLMV, for Thailand’s industrial development and linkage with export and investment both domestically and overseas toward long-term sustainable growth.

“This cooperation between EXIM Thailand and AMATA aims to fill business gaps for entrepreneurs at all levels in the AMATA Industrial Estate, from small to medium and large enterprises throughout the supply chain, so that they are fully ready to uplift their production efficiency and strengthen their export and investment linking investment both domestically and internationally. This also includes cooperation projects between Thai and other countries’ governments for economic, social and environmental development at the regional and global levels as a whole,” added Dr. Rak.
