ธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทย ได้รับความเห็นชอบจากธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย ในการแต่งตั้ง คุณติยะชัย ชอง ให้ดำรงตำแหน่ง Head of Wealth and Preferred Segment, Consumer Banking โดยมีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 สิงหาคม 2565 เป็นต้นไป

คุณติยะชัย มีประสบการณ์ในระดับนานาชาติมากกว่า 15 ปี ด้านการบริหารความมั่งคั่ง การบริหารการลงทุนและประกันชีวิต รวมถึงการเป็นที่ปรึกษาในเรื่องการจัดการและการปรับเปลี่ยนทางธุรกิจ (Business Transformation) โดยคุณติยะชัย ได้เคยดำรงตำแหน่งกรรมการผู้จัดการและผู้จัดการกองทุนของ บริษัทหลักทรัพย์จัดการกองทุนรวม ฟิลลิป จำกัด และดำรงตำแหน่งเป็นกรรมการ บริษัท ฟิลลิป ประกันชีวิต จำกัด (มหาชน) ตั้งแต่ปี 2561 ด้วยประสบการณ์ความเชี่ยวชาญของคุณติยะชัย   ในการบริหารจัดการและขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตของธุรกิจการบริหารความมั่งคั่ง ด้วยความเข้าใจถึงความต้องการของลูกค้า จะเป็นส่วนสำคัญที่ช่วยสนับสนุนวิสัยทัศน์ของ ธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทย ในการก้าวไปสู่การเป็นธนาคารชั้นนำของอาเซียนที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล

จากความโดดเด่นของ ธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทย ที่สามารถนำเสนอบริการด้านการบริหารความมั่งคั่งที่ครบวงจรอย่างมืออาชีพ โดยได้คัดสรรผลิตภัณฑ์เด่นที่สามารถตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของลูกค้าได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ซึ่งครอบคลุมทั้งกองทุน หุ้นกู้ หุ้นกู้อนุพันธ์ หุ้นกู้อนุพันธ์อ้างอิงกับหุ้นสามัญ ตลอดจนผลิตภัณฑ์ประกัน และวงเงินสินเชื่อที่ลูกค้าสามารถนำหุ้นกู้ พันธบัตร และตราสารทางการเงิน มาวางเป็นหลักประกันเพื่อนำเงินไปลงทุนต่อ เพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการสร้างอัตราผลตอบแทนให้สูงขึ้นได้ ถือเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่ทำให้ คุณติยะชัย สนใจเข้าร่วมงานกับ ธนาคาร ซีไอเอ็มบี ไทยในบทบาทใหม่นี้

ด้านประสบการณ์การทำงาน คุณติยะชัย เริ่มต้นทำงานด้านการบริหารการลงทุนในปี 2550 กับ Abu Dhabi investment Authority (ADIA) ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในกองทุนความมั่งคั่งแห่งชาติที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก โดยมีมูลค่าสินทรัพย์ภายใต้การบริหารจัดการกว่า 8 แสนล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ จากนั้นคุณติยะชัย ได้เป็นที่ปรึกษาให้กับ Thomson Reuters ในนิวยอร์ก ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา และแวนคูเวอร์ ประเทศแคนาดา โดยให้คำปรึกษาแก่ผู้จัดการสินทรัพย์ชั้นนำของโลก Hedge Fund และ Investment Bank เกี่ยวกับกลยุทธ์การลงทุนและการบริหารความเสี่ยง

คุณติยะชัย สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี สาขาพาณิชยศาสตร์ (การเงิน) ที่ University of British Columbia ประเทศแคนาดา และหลักสูตร Postgraduate Exchange สาขาการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ ที่ University of Cape Town ประเทศแอฟริกาใต้

Mr. Thiyachai Chong has over 15 years of experience worldwide in wealth management, investment management, life insurance, management consulting and business transformation. Most recently, he was the Managing Director and Fund Manager at Phillip Asset Management Co., Ltd., Thailand and a Director at Phillip Life Assurance Plc. since 2018. His track record in spearheading the wealth management industry in thought leadership and customer centricity would be invaluable in supporting CIMB Thai Bank’s vision in becoming the premier digital-led bank with a regional ASEAN reach. Subsequently, he worked as a consultant at Thomson Reuters in New York City, USA and Vancouver, Canada, advising the world’s leading asset managers, hedge funds and investment banks on investment and risk management strategies. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Finance) from the University of British Columbia, Canada, and also completed a postgraduate exchange in Developmental Economics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
