According to instructor Leah Reed, "newcomers, beginners and veterans to Zumba are all welcome and encouraged to attend."The La Junta Tribune-Democrat Cinco de Mayo Celebration will feature authentic Mexican cuisine, which will be served at the La Junta Senior Center. The event will also include live entertainment throughout the day, vendor booths,beats headphones, live auction, silent auction, games and a beer garden for adults. Also, the State Bank of La Junta is sponsoring a coin find for kids at 3 p.m.Additionally, there will be a dance at the new InspirationField building located at 612 Adams featuring "Krush" that will begin at 7 p.m. The dance is for ages 21 years and up; tickets for the dance are $10 each or $12 at the door.The funds raised during the celebration will be added to InspirationField's capital campaign fund for the new 34,280 square foot state-of-the-art facility located at 612 Adams, where day program services, supported employment opportunities, meeting facilities and administrative offices will be located.This year's sponsors include Johnnie Mabel DeLeon, Rocky Mountain Coors, Holiday Inn, La Junta Tourism, Wendy's, PDC Pharmacy, Flood Peterson, BJ's, The State Bank Of La Junta, Copper Kitchen, M4 roofing, EMR Contracting, H.W.
