Former University of Tulsa quarterback Kenny Jackson was named Webster鈥檚 head football coach on Monday. Jackson was Rogers鈥?head coach from 2004-07. In 鈥?6, he was the Tulsa World鈥檚 metro coach of the year as he led the Ropers to a Class 5A playoff berth and a 6-5 record their only winning season since 1974. 鈥淚 think with his background and football knowledge, he鈥檒l do a great job,鈥?Tulsa Public Schools athletic director Gil Cloud said. 鈥淗e鈥檒l create some excitement and that鈥檚 important to get students excited about football.
