In 1964-1965 he accepted a coaching job at UCLA.Dick's scouting career began in 1965 when he was hired for a short stint by the Dallas Cowboys. In 1967 he returned to the Dallas Cowboys and stayed there for eight years, the last three of which he was the director of player personnel.In 1975 he went to Seattle, Wash. to help with the formation of the Seattle Seahawks. He served there as the Director of Player Personnel until 1984 when the Dallas Cowboys made him an offer he could not refuse.Dick returned to the Dallas Cowboys in 1984 and continued to work with legendary Head Coach TomLandry and then GM Tex Schramm during the "Cowboys Glory Days".....Dick played a huge roll in the team's success. He remained in Dallas even after the transition to Jerry Jones, but chose to retire a couple of years later after being in the NFL for 26 years.He helped found the "All Sports Coaching Clinics" and worked at that for several years,gucci bags, even after his move to Ramah.
