บริษัท บีซีไอ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด นำศักยภาพทางด้านเทคโนโลยีขององค์กรร่วมวางโครงสร้างพื้นฐานทางด้าน Blockchain ให้กับสังคมไทย ร่วมกับธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์พัฒนาระบบให้ผู้ประกอบการสามารถใช้งานแพลตฟอร์ม Blockchain กลางในรูปแบบ Common Node ได้แล้วผ่าน Web Portal สำหรับผู้ประกอบการที่ยังไม่พร้อมลงทุนพัฒนาระบบข้อมูลภายในด้วยตนเอง ชี้เป็นโอกาสดีสำหรับผู้ประกอบการเอสเอ็มอีในการใช้ประโยชน์เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพทางธุรกิจ โดยบริษัท บีซีไอได้เปิดให้บริการหนังสือค้ำประกัน (Letter of Guarantee : LG ) ในการรับส่งคำขอและหนังสือค้ำประกัน ซึ่งเป็นบริการแรกสำหรับสมาชิกทั้งในรูปแบบ Common Node และ Private Node พร้อมวางแผนต่อยอดเทคโนโลยี Blockchain สู่บริการอื่นๆ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลเต็มรูปแบบในอนาคต นายอิทธิพันธ์ เจียกเจิม กรรมการบริษัท บีซีไอ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด และผู้ช่วยผู้จัดการใหญ่ ผู้บริหารฝ่าย Global Transaction Banking Services ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ กล่าวว่า ปัจจุบันภาคธุรกิจในประเทศไทยตื่นตัวกับการนำเทคโนโลยี Blockchain มาใช้ต่อยอดและพัฒนาประสิทธิภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจ แต่เนื่องด้วยเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่ ดังนั้นการนำมาใช้ประโยชน์จริงจึงจำเป็นต้องมีการลงทุนพัฒนา และต้องมีความรู้ความเข้าใจในเทคโนโลยี Blockchainเป็นพื้นฐาน ซึ่งเป็นข้อจำกัดสำหรับผู้ประกอบการบางกลุ่ม ทำให้มีเพียงองค์กรธุรกิจขนาดใหญ่เท่านั้นที่สามารถพัฒนาระบบภายในเพื่อนำ Blockchain มาใช้งาน ดังนั้น บริษัทบีซีไอ ซึ่งเกิดจากความร่วมมือของธนาคาร รัฐวิสาหกิจ และองค์กรธุรกิจชั้นนำหลายแห่งภายใต้โครงการ Thailand Blockchain Community Initiative จึงมีเป้าหมายที่จะวางโครงสร้างพื้นฐานทางด้าน Blockchain ให้กับประเทศไทย โดยได้พัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มกลางซึ่งเปิดให้บริการในรูปแบบ Private Node สำหรับสมาชิกที่สามารถพัฒนา Node และนำข้อมูลเข้าระบบภายในของตัวเองไปในเดือนมิถุนายน 2562 และขณะนี้ได้เปิดให้บริการแพลตฟอร์ม Blockchain ในรูปแบบ Common Node สำหรับธุรกิจที่ไม่พร้อมพัฒนาระบบภายในของตัวเอง แต่บริษัทบีซีไอจะเป็นผู้ดูแล เพื่อให้การรับส่งข้อมูลคำขอและหนังสือค้ำประกันเป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ โดยมีธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์เป็นผู้พัฒนาWeb Portal เพื่อให้ผู้สนใจสามารถเข้าใช้งาน ซึ่งเป็นการสร้างโอกาสให้ธุรกิจทุกกลุ่มสามารถเข้าถึงและใช้ประโยชน์จากเทคโนโลยี Blockchain “บริษัท บีซีไอ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด มีความภาคภูมิใจที่วันนี้ได้มีส่วนร่วมสนับสนุนเป้าหมายในการวางโครงสร้างพื้นฐานทางด้านเทคโนโลยี Blockchain ให้ทุกคนสามารถเข้าถึงได้เกิดขึ้นจริง โดยเปิดโอกาสให้ทั้งองค์กรที่ต้องการเข้ามาทดลองเพื่อนำไปพัฒนาระบบของตัวเอง ธุรกิจต่างๆ รวมถึงสถาบันการเงิน และโดยเฉพาะกลุ่มผู้ประกอบการเอสเอ็มอีที่ไม่มีความพร้อมที่จะลงทุนพัฒนาระบบของตัวเองได้ก็จะเข้ามาใช้ประโยชน์ ซึ่งมั่นใจว่า Blockchain จะช่วยผู้ประกอบการสามารถเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพให้กับธุรกิจ พร้อมที่จะเติบโตและแข่งขันในโลกธุรกิจดิจิทัล ทั้งนี้ผลิตภัณฑ์แรกที่บริษัทบีซีไอเปิดให้บริการสำหรับผู้ใช้งานทั้งสองรูปแบบคือ บริการหนังสือค้ำประกัน (Letter of Guarantee : LG ) ซึ่งได้รับการพัฒนาขึ้นเพื่อแก้ Painpoint ให้กับผู้ใช้งานที่เกี่ยวข้องทุกส่วน โดยช่วยลดขั้นตอนที่ยุ่งยาก ลดเอกสารจำนวนมาก ประหยัดเวลาดำเนินการ และช่วยลดต้นทุนบนพื้นฐานของความถูกต้อง แม่นยำ และโปร่งใส” นายสิริวัฒน์ เกียรติเจริญสิน ผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท บีซีไอ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด กล่าวว่า การมีเทคโนโลยีที่ชาญฉลาดแต่ไม่ถูกนำไปใช้งานย่อมจะไม่เกิดประโยชน์ใดๆ จึงนับเป็นเรื่องที่น่ายินดีที่วันนี้ทุกภาคส่วนของสังคมสามารถเข้าถึงเทคโนโลยี Blockchain ได้ผ่านทาง Web Portal ของบริษัทบีซีไอ ที่ธนาคารไทยพาณิชย์ได้มีส่วนสำคัญในการพัฒนาให้เกิดขึ้น อย่างไรก็ตามการพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์ม Blockchain ยังคงต้องเดินหน้าอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยจำเป็นต้องได้รับความร่วมมือและการสนับสนุนจากธนาคารพาณิชย์และองค์กรที่มีศักยภาพ เพื่อช่วยกันสร้างสรรค์บริการใหม่ๆ ที่จะช่วยยกระดับศักยภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจให้กับผู้ประกอบการไทยทุกกลุ่ม พร้อมขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลเต็มรูปแบบในอนาคต สำหรับผู้สนใจเข้าใช้งานแพลตฟอร์ม Blockchain ในรูปแบบ Common Node สามารถสมัครได้ผ่านช่องทาง This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The move will provide a good opportunity for SMEs to increase the efficiency of their businesses. Apart from providing Letter of Guarantee (L/G) issuance service for members via both Common and Private nodes, BCI plans to apply Blockchain technology to other services to help transform Thailand into a full-fledged digital economy in the future. Speaking about the development, BCI Thailand Co., Ltd. Board members and Siam Commercial Bank Global Transaction Banking Services Division Executive Vice President and Mr. Ittiphan Jearkjirm said that the business sector in Thailand recognizes the importance of using Blockchain technology to extend and develop the efficiency of business operations. However, to adopt new technologies into real practice will incur development costs and require knowledge of Blockchain technology. This could be a constraint for some business operators, leaving only major business firms able to develop internal systems to apply Blockchain technology in their operations. Therefore, BCI, a collaboration among banks, state enterprises, and leading business firms under the Thailand Blockchain Community Initiative, aims to lay a strong Blockchain technology foundation for Thailand. The company has developed a centralized platform providing services via a Private Node format that has allowed members to upload the data into their internal systems since June 2019. At present, BCI is able to offer services in a Common Node format allowing access for businesses that may not be ready to develop their own systems. BCI will serve as a system administrator to ensure that L/G issuance requests and L/Gs are received and transmitted effectively. SCB has developed this web portal designed to allow access for interested users seeking to take advantage of Blockchain technology for businesses in all segments. “BCI is proud to take part in this project laying a Blockchain technology foundation, allowing access to every business group.
