US researchers said Wednesday they have detected for the first time the H1N1 virus in elephant seals off the coast of central California. The H1N1 strain is the same one that emerged in humans in 2009 and it's the first report of that flu strain in any marine mammal,chloemaindesigner.com, researchers at the University of California, Davis reported in the journal PLOS ONE."We thought we might find influenza viruses, chloe, which have been found before in marine mammals, but we did not expect to find pandemic H1N1," said Tracey Goldstein, lead author of the study. " This shows influenza viruses can move among species."Between 2009 and 2011, the researchers tested nasal swabs from more than 900 marine mammals from 10 different species off the Pacific Coast from Alaska to California. They detected H1N1 infection in two elephant seals and antibodies to the virus in an additional 28 elephant seals, scarpe hogan, indicating more widespread exposure.Neither infected seal appeared to be ill, indicating marine mammals may be infected without showing clinical signs of illness. The researchers said the seals tested negative before they went to sea in early 2010 but they tested positive when they returned from sea in spring 2010. They suspected that exposure occurred in the seals before they reached land, either while at sea or upon entering the near-shore environment. The researchers advised people who handle marine mammals, such as veterinarians and animal workers, to wear personal protective gear in a bid to avoid the possibility of infection.
Similar to another famous English work, gucci bags, J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings,?“The Sea Symphony?has many “fake?endings. There’s the loud one with timpani going wild and organ ringing and the sopranos hitting rafter-high notes, then on and on. Vaughn Williams wants you sailing on this “ship?forever. But then, in a surprising turn, it finishes quietly with the cellos hanging on to the very last notes so breathtakingly soft it’s almost inaudible. And then you realized, christianlouboutinmaindesignerfr, you didn’t want it to end at all.
Well as i am the "convict" in the above "story" perhaps I should venture some truth here as it was it very short supply in court today and is somewhat selective in the article above....I went to the police station to report a crime...the idiot police refused to take my report...in fact I was repeatedly threatened and subsequently assaulted by these clowns prior to my arrest, during and indeed after..the police have on record reports of a local looney turning up at my house; threatening violence, bottega veneta outlet, trying to smash down a door and phoning their own police control room via my rerouted call promising all sort of ills and violence against me and my family....no matter...when I asked for police action I am repeatedly threatened with arrest myself (my first as until this month I had no criminal record). the police in my town are clowns and deserved to be described rightly as idiots...and to the person so offended by the word pr**k u should perhaps burn your TV and never watch a movie again... TV spews out filth 24/7 yet no-one is ever prosecuted for this crap..instead I am given a thousand pound fine for telling an idiot that he was an idiot and I reserved the stronger word for the idiot clown of a policeman who felt it necessary to grab me and manhandle me out of the station....despite all this being caught on cameras..(mysterious
"We were wanting him to get through (the 8th inning),gucci outlet, but what a performance," manager Ron Gardenhire said. "He makes hitters uncomfortable. He had a nice breaking ball. His fastball was diving all over the place, a good change-up cutting away from hitters. He did a great job for us."
